Cupping the skin over tight or dysfunctional muscles to lift the muscles and separate their fibres, stretching & encouraging fresh blood flow.

This is a fairly gentle treatment, the aim is not to create bruising. However, if a lot of stagnated blood is in the tissues this will leave dark circular marks on the skin. Once released, any pain and inflammation in the area should ease.

Cupping Prevents Muscular Disfunction

This treatment is popular with athletes or and people with very physical jobs as a form of maintenance to prevent muscular disfunction. Prevention is better than cure. Cupping can also be beneficial for people who suffer from stress and tension headaches. Stress is often held in the shoulders creating pain and head aches.
